Research Interests:

I have studied on the geology and geological evolution of the Strandja Massif in my previous studies. Moreover, I have attended many field studies including İstanbul Zone and Pontides to gain experience about the field geology and geological mapping. I am interested in regional geology, tectonics, petrology, metamorphism, and geochronology. During the courses I took, I became interested in geodynamics, the geology of Turkey, and the paleotectonics of Asia. Currently, I am studying on the Upper Cretaceous stratigraphy and volcanism in the western Pontides for my master's degree.
